Jim has enjoyed singing and playing guitar since he was a teenager.  His dad bought
him his first guitar at the age of thirteen and he fell in love with playing from that day.
The support from family and friends has been a driving force in Jim's life and his music.
His style is a mix of adult contemporary, acoustic rock and a little country. He was
influenced at an early age by singer/songwriters like Harry Chapin, Jim Croce, Gordon
Lightfoot and Neil Diamond.
"I have always been touched by the ballads and a song with a good story and I try to
convey a message in all of the songs I write."

One of Jim's songs, "Stillwaters" has been heard locally on 107.7 FM "The Lake".
It was also been selected to be on The Lake's Local Music CD Vol. 4. Proceeds from the
sales of The Lake's CDs goes to Music Is Art. This is an organization that donates funds
and materials to local public schools to help the music departments.
Jim's songs are also played in Canada on CHES 101.5FM and have been showcased
during the "Rockin' Roadhouse" with DJ Dave Currie. (see my links page to visit DJ
Dave Currie's pages)
Jim's song Hello Lady has been featured on many pod casts world wide.

Jim has put together a musical project. The project consists of Jim singing most lead
vocals, rhythm guitar and some harmony vocals. Jim is joined by Chris Squire on lead
guitar. Chris also adds some fantastic lead vocals and harmonies. Bob Price on drums
and backing vocals and NSS on bass and adding some killer harmonies.
Together we are........ "STRINGER"

Jim has played with Western New York bands over the years and also performs solo.
He has played all over WNY at venues such as the Niagara County Fair grounds, The
Erie County Fair, many local coffee houses and bars as well as playing shows in
Bracebridge, Ontario and Edmonton and Jasper, Alberta.

"Music has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever received! Although it was many
years ago, I owe a lot to my high school music instructors who helped me maintain the
interest and enhanced my love for music!"
